biological activity | 3 '-Hydroxypterostilbene (3'-HPT) is one of the active ingredients in the hearts of swalk bean and rosewood, which may be effective in treating different types of malignant hematological tumors. 3 '-Hydroxypterostilbene can effectively inhibit the growth of human colon cancer cells by inducing apoptosis and autophagy. The IC50 values for COLO 205,HCT-116 and HT-29 cells are 9.0 µM, 40.2 µM and 70.9 µM respectively. The 3 '-Hydroxypterostilbene inhibits p70S6K and p38MAPK signaling pathways in the PI3K/Akt/mTOR signaling pathway and activates the ERK1/2, JNK1/2 signaling pathways. |
